アメリカン・ブルースの歴史と伝統に深く根ざした名ハーピスト、マックス・ハイタワーから直接学べる、非常に貴重で特別なハーモニカ・ワークショップです。まさに一生に一度の体験となるかもしれません。

このワークショップは、まったくの初心者から経験豊富なミュージシャンまで、すべての方を対象としています。基礎をしっかりと身につけながら、プロのブルース奏者が使用する高度な演奏テクニックにも踏み込みます。

トーン、フレージング、サウンドメイク、呼吸法、腹式（ダイアフラム）アタック、チョーキング（ベンド）、ビブラート、ワーブル、グロウル、バーク、キスポップ、オクターブ、バックリズム、リップパッカー、リップブロック、特殊コード、音の成形、手の使い方、ポジション、マイクとアンプ、バンドとの演奏などを学びます。また、12バーブルースの構造や、ライブでのブルースハーモニカの役割についても取り上げます。

ワークショップは3つのレベルに分かれています：子ども向け、一般・初心者向け、ミュージシャン・経験者向け。ご購入時に該当するバリエーションをお選びください。

This is a truly unique — and possibly once-in-a-lifetime — opportunity to study blues harmonica with Max Hightower, a respected American blues harp player deeply rooted in the history and tradition of the blues.

These workshops are designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced musicians. Participants will receive clear instruction in establishing strong fundamentals, while also exploring advanced techniques used by professional blues players.

Areas of study include tone, phrasing, sound production, breathing and diaphragm attack, bending notes, vibrato, warbles, growls, barks, kiss pops, octaves, back rhythm, lip pursing, lip blocking, special chords, shaping notes, hand techniques, positions, microphones and amplifiers, and playing with a band. The workshops will also cover the 12-bar blues structure and how harmonica fits into a live blues setting.

Three workshop levels are available: a child-friendly session, an adult/beginner session, and a musicians/experienced players session. Please select the appropriate variation when purchasing.
